A tad bit late…

But I’m officially a Sophmore in college! ;D

Summer has begun and I’m looking forward to sleeping in, no homework, no papers, no projects and NO EXAMS! 

Calculus final in t-minus roughly 1 hour… I used to love math and excelled in it when I was younger. WHAT HAPPENED?!? Studied all day and all night… MUST.PASS.THIS.FINAL.

Luan missed his alarm today and wasn’t at work in time so they thought he was UA (unverified absence) and called him. Luckily, his friend vouched for him and said that he was still in CA (simply at home in San Diego) and that he probably just overslept. I was hella worried ‘cos he has a 96 this weekend and we both thought it was going to get secured. Funny thing was that they just made him buy sodas for everyone. Thank the Lord! Almost had a heart attack ‘cos I bought tickets to come up to Berkeley this weekend. He’ll be here tomorrow night! Super stocked ‘cos he’ll be able to keep me company and possibly switch off driving down to San Diego on Saturday night. I’ve made the trip by myself quite a number of times and let’s just say that it gets pretty lonely. So having him with me this time will make the 8+ hour trip seem like a few hours long (=

Chemistry

I ABSOLUTELY HATE CHEMISTRY WITH A PASSION! I was never fond of the subject. Maybe it’s because I took one year of chemistry in high school and three years of biology and my chemistry teacher sucked. She had an accent that was extremely hard to understand and was terrible at explaining. Why must my major require 3 semesters of chemistry?!? :( I pray that I didn’t fail the final this morning… The professor said the class isn’t curved but come on, it’s Cal. And chemistry here is one of the toughest classes. I seriously hope the grade cutoffs are lowered…

Nguyen Homecoming

Yesterday was one of the best days of my life. Words cannot describe how excited and nervous I felt. Although I had to wait 6 hours until he was finally released, that moment I wrapped my arms around him – I felt whole again. There was this awkward moment where I was too excited to see him that I literally almost walked right past him thinking he was somewhere in the back until he came up to me and said ‘hi’. Haha, that was a tad bit embarrassing xD It sucked that we were only able to spend one night together and he had to go to work this morning and I am flying back to Berkeley tonight ): I can’t say this enough but it’s SO NICE to have him home again! <3
